Summary of Declared (by State) vs. Inventoried (by UNMIN), Weapon Counts

Independent auditors: Are alarm bells rigning or what? With one adjustment for home made mortars, the total counts for what the Maoists declared versus what the Government submitted is 3 = 0.0008759% variance.
Did anyone say "fraud" or "managed totals?"
What are the odds that the Maoists would produce 3 weapons less than what the State declared and then the public would be denied the information needed to assess the completeness or accuray of the results?
It's no the UN's mandate to point out any of this, but it should be the government's responsibility to not glaze over such GLARING disparities!!!
When are our politicians going to stop playing games with us?

This is seriously worrying. Why did they bother to register arms? I guess it's useful that the arms are under lock and key.

But what's the difference when the Maoits hold the keys themselves?

This is just absolutely stupid.
